Jorge Miguel

Jorge Miguel ist Autor der Zombie-Comic-Serie „ALS DIE ZOMBIES DIE WELT AUFFRASSEN“, dessen 2. Band in Kürze in Deutschland erscheinen wird.

Jorge Miguel wurde 1963 in Amadora, einem Vorort von Lissabon, Portugal, geboren. Seine Karriere in den grafischen Künsten begann er als Werbeillustrator und Storyboardzeichner. Dabei blieb es aber nicht: Er tummelte sich sowohl im Animationsbereich herum, fertigte Aquarellarbeiten an, seine Lieblingsbeschäftigung, und lernte diverse analoge Druckverfahren kennen.

Etabliert hat er sich mittlerweile besonders als Comiczeichner und als Illustrator für Kinderbücher. Er lebt und arbeitet aktuell in Setúbal an der atlantischen Küste.

Jorge Miguel is author of the Zombie-Comic-Series “ALS DIE ZOMBIES DIE WELT AUFFRASSEN“.

It’s 2. Issue is going to be published in Germany soon.
Jorge Miguel was born in 1963 in Amadora, a suburb of Lisbon, Portugal. He started his career in the graphic arts with advertising illustrations and storyboard artist. But that was not all: He also worked in the animation area, produced water colour works, his favourite activity, and he learned several analogical print methods.
He has established himself over all with his works as Comic artist and as illustrator of children’s book’s. Currently he lives and works in Setúbal at the atlantic coast.
